When two serious critics land on the same number independently, you sit up and pay attention. ​ Reynolds Family has been quietly crafting serious Napa Valley Cabernet from its 14.5-acre estate since 1999, just a stone's throw from the Stags Leap District on the Silverado Trail. The 2019 vintage was exceptional, and two years in barrel gave this wine the structure and depth to prove it. Wine Enthusiast called it _"so suave and layered"_ with _"opulent oak spices"_ carrying through to the finish — and they're not wrong. ​ Smoky tobacco and cedar on the nose, then dried blueberry, blackberry and dark chocolate flood the palate. Substantial, grippy tannins give way to a long, spice-laden finish that keeps going. Best from 2025 onwards — though we wouldn't blame you for cracking one tonight.
