Long before natural wine became a dinner party talking point, producers on the Oakville bench were doing the quiet, unglamorous work of understanding their land and letting it speak through the glass. That history matters enormously, and you can taste every bit of it. ​ And what a taste it is. Crushed wild strawberry and black cherry arrive first, bright and singing with that unmistakable Oakville sunshine, before the wine settles into something more contemplative — dried rose petals, damp woodland floor, and a ribbon of mocha threading through to a finish that is silky, sustained, and altogether too easy to revisit.
