Paso Robles delivers Cabernet of remarkable power and warmth, and this 2022 caught that character perfectly: 95 POINTS of dark, structured, compulsively drinkable California brilliance. I got the allocation. Not all of it (they're not completely daft) but enough to make this properly worth your while.\n\n​\n\nWhat's in the glass is stunning: dense cassis and blackberry, a gorgeous streak of graphite and cedar, dark chocolate melting into tobacco leaf, and tannins so perfectly judged you'd swear they'd been coached. It finishes long, spiced, and utterly confident. Buy as much as you possibly can.
